The investiture ceremony for incoming McCracken County elected and appointed officials took place in Courtroom A packed with family and friends on January 6th, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
Amanda Melton was sworn in as McCracken County Coroner along with Brittany Crim-Freeman, sworn in as Deputy Coroner, and Jason L. Logsdon, also sworn as Deputy Coroner. A third Deputy Coroner will be named at a later date.
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to serve McCracken County as its next Coroner, ” said Melton. “I’m also thankful that Jason Logsdon and Brittany Freeman have committed to this journey along side of me. Today was a big day.”
The three will begin their tenure at midnight on January 7th.
